Notice of Owners Intent to Declare Oil and Gas Lease Abandoned This oil and gas lease is currently held by H. M. Shaffer d.b.a. Hardin Oil Company and this Notice is addressed to the same. The surface land is comprised of 62.054 acres, is located at State Route 3 Westerville, OH 43082, Delaware County Parcel Number 317-240-01-032-000, and was deeded to Philip J. Vilardo, Sr. Irrevocable Trust, recorded on October 8, 2003, by the Delaware County Recorder’s Office, Official Record Volume 431, Page 1606-1607. The interest held by H. M. Shaffer d.b.a. Hardin Oil Company was acquired by an Oil and Gas Lease of record in Lease Volume 24, Page 348, Recorder’s Office, Delaware County, OH. Said Oil and Gas Lease was filed for record June 11, 1964. Pursuant to O.R.C § 5301.332, there are no producing or drilling oil or gas wells on the surface land, and the term of the lease has expired, as the initial fifteen month terms has concluded and oil, gas, and their constituents are no longer being produced in paying quantities and operations are not being maintained on the land in accordance with the lease. It is the intent of the owner Philip J. Vilardo, Sr. Irrevocable Trust to file with the Delaware County Recorder’s office an affidavit of forfeiture at least thirty, but no later than sixty days after the date on which this notice is published.
